She is a small dog who thinks she is a big dog and will not hesitate to bully our two male dogs. She thinks she is a guard dog, and goes nuts when someone pulls into our driveway or comes to the door. Lollie is naughty and chews everything. Her favorite things to chew are the tips of shoelaces and my living room furniture. This week she discovered the delicious taste of Christmas ornaments. Lollie is confident that everyone wants her kisses - on their faces and often up their nostrils. Her favorite game is tug 'o war and she snarls viciously as she tries to win the battle with pure determination. She never believes that her small 13 pound frame is no match for a full-grown person. She has nicknames like Lou, and Lollie Pop, but most of the time I talk baby talk to her and call her my Wowee Woo. Gosh how I love that dog.

<msn:type>blogentry</msn:type><live:type>blogentry</live:type><live:typelabel>Blog entry</live:typelabel>

<dcterms:modified>2006-12-18T23:59:58Z</dcterms:modified>

Rejected

Last Monday I had Craig drop Lollie at the vet to get spayed. Tuesday I went and picked her up. I thought that my organization of the terrible deed would make Craig the big, bad, guy and leave me as the rescuer. Normally when I come home from work, Lollie goes nuts. Her whole body wags, and jumps and she barks so loudly and sharply that it could pierce my eardrums. I totally expected the same greeting at the vets office. Oh no, she ignored me completely. As I joyfully scooped her up from the assistant's arms, she turned her head away from me. She didn't kiss me and her tail was not wagging. When I got her home and into the house, she squirmed out of my arms and jumped on Craig, who was lounging on the couch. Little bratt. She didn't love on me until yesterday, when she took her usual position behind me in my computer chair. Then, in the evening, I knew I was forgiven when Devon, Craig, his mom, and I were sitting around in the living room talking. She chose my lap to snuggle on, over all the others in the room. I was beginning to wonder how long she would hold a grudge!

<msn:type>blogentry</msn:type><live:type>blogentry</live:type><live:typelabel>Blog entry</live:typelabel>

<dcterms:modified>2006-10-29T12:05:39Z</dcterms:modified>
